Magma has announced the expansion of the Magma-WIS (Web Information System) functionality for the integral management of complaints. This product provides company suppliers and customers with an Internet based self-query or self-management system that enables queries of the status of payments and collections, reprinting of receipts, and interaction through messages and/or e-mails with the supplier’s areas. This new feature permits the recording and tracking of complaints by the company, thus significantly reducing telephone time and improving service to business partners. It includes a set of tools to analyze the type and quantity of entries, statistics by type of complaint, average response time, among others.


Magma-WIS can be rapidly integrated to any of the management products, such as Magma-ERP, Magma-PSA or third-party Systems. This product has been implemented at YPF-Mega in Argentina and Supermercados Tienda Inglesa in Uruguay.

Endeavor, the foundation for the promotion of innovative companies from emerging markets has pre-selected Magma and three other entrepreneurs to participate in the network.

Magma announces the start of the development of the new Human Resources allocations module for Services organizations. Once completed, this new module will replace the existing Magma-PSA module, a product oriented to the management of professional service companies (Consulting and law firms, among others).


This new module is aimed at addressing the need to plan the allocation of professional resources’ time for the future, according to the expected demands of projects and taking into consideration the knowledge and skills of professionals, their professional field and availability, among other concepts. The plan can later be assessed against the actual reports of the time loading module (Time-Sheet) of Magma-PSA, in order to analyze deviations and improve the management of the professional staff, the most important asset of service companies, thus facilitating the complex task of maximizing the profitability of qualified staff.

Magma announces the release of its Multi-language version for the Magma-ERP and Magma-PSA product lines.


This new feature is aimed at facilitating the interaction of users based in different countries and speaking different languages, permitting Magma customers to manage their businesses on a single, uniform platform, as required by global business.


The system will manage all the interaction in the language defined by the user in the workstation.


The Multi-language version is available for all Back-Office or administrative management modules of Magma-ERP and Magma-PSA Products. This version is also available for the Project Accounting Modules of Magma-PSA, which specializes in the management of professional services companies, enabling the integration of professionals speaking different languages, in a single work environment in a transparent way. This allows for the integration of a single work team with professionals that report hours and expenses and operate abroad or the recruitment of foreign staff for regional projects or cases.

The European Union, through the project INTEGRA (www.europa.eu.int/alis), has chosen The British Schools as one of the only 20 centers of technological innovation in South America, after the successful implementation of Magma-ERP solution for management of educational institutions.


We are very proud of this recognition that is the result of a successful technological re-conversion process carried out by The British Schools, using Magma products. The process has been implemented, on a first stage, in all administration areas in order to ensure an integrated management system with a specific focus on this type of institution.


Simultaneously, the internal development team at The British Schools developed an academic portal (Ecademicus) based on the Magma-Tools product, which permitted to create a single integrated system to address all the information needs of the institution.


According to comments made by NCTE representatives from Ireland (members of the INTEGRA group), there are no records in the region, nor in some of the European countries, of products of this type, achieving such an efficient integration of all the aspects of an educational institution in a single functional system on such high level technology.


Adding to this important recognition, Dr. David Bamford, Executive Officer of LAHC (Latin American Heads Conference), after visiting The British Schools in September this year, stated that to date he had not heard of solutions with the same technical and functional characteristics applied to any of the educational institutions in his network.
